I must admit that I had mixed feelings about compiling a Text Message Dictionary for an English language web site. On the one hand I think that learning another language is difficult enough without being introduced to abbreviations of groups of words, i.e. aaf representing the words, as a friend. But on the other hand text message abbreviations are full of meaningful phrases and therefore of some real value. Anyway this is just a short list of the common abbreviations in use so why not have a look and see what you think.
