I never really appreciated just how much phrases are used in everyday conversation until I started teaching. And even then only because students often struggled when I spoke to a fellow teacher. I’m not sure that phrases are considered to be an important part of learning a language but I do know that phrases make you sound like a natural speaker. So with this in mind I have produced a collection of phrases and you will find them on the links below. I would suggest that you just learn a few at a time and then try to incorporate them into your everyday speech.
